Native to Nepal, Gaultheria fragrantissima has similar uses to Gaultheria procumbens. It is the Nepalese wintergreen. Chemotyped essential oils of fragrant wintergreen relieve muscle pain associated with physical exhaustion, back pain, arthritis and any musculoskeletal problems. It helps to relax muscles and reduces inflammation in joints and tendons. Tips & Tricks This chemotyped essential oil is useful for its vasodilatory effect on peripheral circulation but, in its undiluted form, may irritate sensitive skin. For this reason, it should always be used diluted. Tight tendons and muscles? The solution: 3 drops of AEQT Wintergreen + 2 drops of AEQT Katrafay + 2 drops of AEQT Rosemary QT Camphor + 8 drops of AM St. John’s Wort, massaged in 3 times a day.Apply a few drops diluted in a vegetable oil via local massage.
